We are seeing the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel" after Chief Traingineer, Roger Farkash, spent an extraordinary 64 days in the hospital and another 14 days in a Rehabilitation facility battling for his life after Covid pneumonia set into his lungs leaving some very dangerous blood clotting issues that required several lifesaving procedures.

We are forever grateful for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers both Roger & I received
daily from our dear friends, customers, and vendors - it was a game changer! Our prayer Warriors especially played such a pivotal role and provided extraordinary comfort during
even the darkest and hardest of times.

Roger came home October 1st and although he still needs the assist of oxygen (only 2 liters/YAY!) while receiving weekly; Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, as well as Nurse visits - his overall improvement is excellent. I am home with him during this phase of recovery as we are learning how to navigate with walker, wheelchair, oxygen, and temporarily a hospital bed.

We’re planning a venture into the studio tomorrow to see the Traintastic progress on all
fronts that our amazing and talented Traingineers have successfully been taking care of in both of our absences...

I am in total awe of every one of our employees - both in Dallas and Concord - who made it
possible to keep our projects in the studio moving forward. As a matter of fact - last week, part of the Traingineer Crew returned from Illinois where they installed an updated layout of one of our Traintastic residential client's (circa 2009 custom layout) he graciously donated to the Illinois RR Museum, which will soon be opening to the public and on display in a brand new building the museum recently completed!!!

Can I get a Yee Haw?!?!?!?!?!

Oh Oh... and our talented Traingineers have also been handling the annual installation of the
custom Ronald McDonald House layout for the Trains at NorthPark which is displayed annually
inside Dallas's NorthPark Mall!

And...

Hello - our Traingineer's also installed a custom HO layout for another Traintastic Residential client here in North Texas...

OMG - and another residential installation in Georgia of a custom layout based on a classic 1947 Lionel Design!

Did I mention the slew of Landmark Series Buildings and Kits that shipped to all parts of this fabulous country making this a very memorable and remarkable summer!!

We've also been incredibly fortunate to move out of state delivery dates on larger residential layouts currently in development and on the studio floor – we appreciate everyone’s patience!!!

Roger - let me get a swig of some of your oxygen... takes my breath away and blowing my mind documenting all these tremendous accomplishments by our entire Traintastic Crew since Roger's July 25th trip to the ER!!!!

How about ANOTHER... YEE HAW!?!?

Folks, not going to lie, wasn't sure if I'd be sending out another TrainDame email with so much enthusiasm... feels like I'm just getting started... we have so much to do! SLOW DOWN NOW...SLOW DOWN...

Roger and I both want to thank YOU from the bottom of our hearts and especially want to show our gratitude and truly know the best way to achieve that is by getting back to what we LOVE doing and creating more Traintastic; layouts, products and memories than EVER BEFORE  : )

Happy Tracks!
