Some extras from my MPC collection. I collect mint MPC pieces in the original boxes. I'm constantly finding new pieces for my collection and dispose of others. None of the items below have writing on the boxes, price stickers on the boxes or any other stickers or markings someone in the past may have put on them. All prices plus shipping from zip code 21028. I use PirateShip to pay for postage and will only charge exact shipping charges. Local pickup is also available or I will meet within a reasonable distance from Churchville, MD. I occasionally travel to the Pittsburgh, PA area and am open to meeting in that area also. Lionel #1971 Quaker City Limited from 1979. New with factory shrink wrap still intact. The top of the box has a couple impressions in it but overall is nice. Great set with an attractive Reading U36b, six cars and a bay window caboose. $175
Lionel #1970 Southern Pacific Limited. An uncatalogued set from 1979 in the Limited Edition series. New with the factory shrink wrap still intact, near perfect box top. Very nice set that is very close to the condition it came from the factory. Features a powered and non-powered Southern Pacific U36C, five freight cars including the mint car, all with die-cast sprung trucks and a bay window caboose. $175
Lionel #1665 Empire State Express from 1976. This set is new, the box lid is nearly perfect but is missing the shrink wrap from the factory. Popular set with a NYC Hudson, five freight cars and a bay window caboose. $175
Lionel #8801 Blue Comet Hudson from 1978-80 BOX ONLY. This is a decent shape box and styrofoam cradle for the #8801 Blue Comet. $25.
Lionel #8150 Green 5-stripe GG-1 BOX ONLY. This is a nearly new condition box only and styrofoam cradle for the green 5-stripe GG-1 produced in 1981. Very nice condition with no torn flaps, crushed corners, writing or price stickers. $20.
Lionel #9536-40 and #19000 Blue Comet passenger cars from 1978-79 and the add-on diner car. All are in nice original boxes with very little run time. $180
Lionel #8952 Pennsylvania F3A powered and non-powered diesel set from 1979. Nice original box with one tear on one side. The boxes for these locomotives were very flimsy and tore easily. Very little run time, the locos look new. $250
Lionel #9570-74 Pennsylvania aluminum passenger cars from 1979. These were produced to go with the 8952 F3 AA above. Very nice mint unrun set of cars with like new original boxes. If you want a set of cars that are as close as you will probably ever see to a factory fresh set in 1979 these are it. $295
