The last item for show-N-tell today is a caboose.  Its foundation is a Flyer Caboose which has custom printed cardstock glued to all surfaces, ends, roof, cupola, and sides.  I’m sure it’s custom because the road name, Great Eastern Railroad, is that of the gentleman who also did the Nimco K5 conversion.  The rivet detail is printed, not embossed.  The underbody storage box probable came with the cardstock ‘kit’.  No idea about the trucks, they are not sprung.

If you like seeing this old stuff, I'll root through the boxes I got from Gene.  He did a lot of bash & glue, kits, and home made rolling stock.

That Marx NIAX tankcar is the first version of the car - the identifiers are the silver frame, silver ends and silver dome. It's pretty scarce compared to the multitudes of black frame/black ends/black frame version that followed up the original silver version. Finding a clean silver variation car is tough - the silver is easy to mar and shows any signs of less than careful handling.
