The flexible bolster on the plastic trucks are nothing but trouble on my gargraves switches. I use a soldering iron and epoxy to make them non-flexible.
You should be using the die-cast truck & coupler version.
I searched lionel service web sight and could not find those lionscale truck with thumb tack scouplers. do they sell these truck seperatly? I realize these trucks because of the disc uncoupler were not liked at all by everybody here. for my needs now though they are better than the plastic weaver trucks on my sound car. I personaly like the thumb tack style myself. it plays well with my homemade uncoupling tool. if anyone has a pair of the lioscale trucks they would like to sell let me know here. also did not mth make and sell diecast trucks for weaver cars? mybe I need to check that avenue out. thanks
