Decided to go with more of a theme, as the layout takes on more of a hi-rail look, so I ordered a couple of Reading engines & passenger cars. Expect to see them showing up in more shots going fwd :)

The race is on as NS 194 running on the N&W w/ SD60E 6928 paces NS 188 running on the ex VGN in Salem, VA-

Amtrak P42 85 leads the eastbound Pennsylvanian over Sherman's Creek in Duncannon, PA on the eastern end of the NS Pittsburgh Line-

If you look at my posts on this thread with any regularity, you know I have been building a model of the town of Port Royal PA over the past nine months or so. It's still not finished, but with the streets finally getting weathered and the utility poles going in, it's starting to get a finished look. So while it's still not done yet, here are a bunch of photos I snapped off last night with my cell phone, some in black and white.

These are super neat- your user name makes more sense now! I went to school in Downingtown so it’s pretty neat to see it. A lot of great railroad history in the areas- between the Lincoln funeral train passing through and the Downingtown trestle being a target for espionage during WW2.
