Wiring Atlas TT center track

I believe it was last yr that several posts were made about the new Atlas TT.  One or more said they bought one or planned to(me included).   Comments made about the new model were mostly favorable.  And I would have thought there would be at least a few in our forum community who have fully wired and operational units.  It is possible I have a defective unit, but I would like to know before  I make what could be a very time consuming communication with the manufacturer.

I went looking on the website for Atlas O gauge tt track and could find nothing, can you give label information from package?

The item # is 6999.  There could be a part missing on each hookup point.  The spaces beneath the hookup points are open but nothing inside.  Only a tiny screw on top that neither unscrews nor screws tight plus the screw type does not appear suitable to handle wiring directly.  I think I need to photo the area and post it.  Will do later this a.m.

Sorry to have made two posts to get the image shown.  Not sure what happened as I have done this before.  Could not get a straight in photo due to location; my access hatch is on other side.   There is no observable gizmo in the empty space below the screw with the hole in the middle.  Both hookup points are identical.  My guess is there should be a hookup device in the space below such that one would push a bare ended wire straight in, then tighten with above screw.

I recently packed mine up for later use, so I cannot confirm, but I believe there should be 2 screws in a bag of parts. Install the screws in the holes and attach wires. I think those holes are threaded.

You are right.  I never thought about the parts bag.  The two little screws do thread into the holes on top.  But a couple of issues I have:  1. I use 18 gauge wire for accessories and side tracks.  Haven't tried yet, but 18 gauge may be too large to fit under those screws.  2. Still puzzled by the open space beneath the screw locations.  All the other raised sections are enclosed.  Having the wire hooked up underneath would make for a much neater install.

If the wire gauge is too thick, use a crimp ring or U-shaped connector.

If you want the connection on the bottom side, just get a longer screw of similar size and thread count/pitch and screw it through the hole, attach the crimp to the underside and secure with an appropriate sized nut.

Thanks.  Never gave the connectors a thought.  Have done the one I can reach from table side.  Connects just fine.  Hope today or tomorrow to do the other one and power up.
