Re: 787 Log Loader track spacing

I was thinking of installing a 787 between two parallel tracks, so that I can dump logs into it from one side and load from the other.

I have two parallel tracks spaced 13" apart (center to center). Will that spacing work well? I can't really adjust the track spacing at this point.

(obviously, I don't have a 787 to test with!)

I think you'll need to build some dump rails on that side as an extension to get the logs to the base.

The Lionel is 10" x 11 1/2" x 9". Don't know the numbers on the MTH.
