Does anyone know where I can get a new sensor device for the Cab 1 speed control knob?

Don't know the actual part name or PN.

BoxcarBill does not stock it.

I don't see it available at Lionel or Brasseur's either.

Maybe you can repair the board...any recognizable encoder sensor chip on it?

According to Dale Manquen, it may not be the speed sensor.

He says he has a couple of cab 1's that do the same thing, and the sensor is not the problem.

He plans on doing some further testing to determine what the real issue is.
