Thought about it, but wouldn't be the same, and I would know. Really surpise this hasn't been made, since in late 50s and early 60s, these Plymouths in my area< Northern Illinois, were bought by many High Schoolers, and saw much use on dirt tracks. 45 to 55.00 would buy a running Plymouth in great shape.

Thanks though.

Close...a 1947. You can also find this same basic model under the Dinky/Matchbook name as a sedan.

BTW, there are some very nice models that are part of the Dinky/Matchbox "Oldies But Goodies" series (they come in a yellow box). They include a '55 Chevy HT, '57 Chevy HT, convert, and wagon, '47 Chysler T&C, '56 Ford sedan to name a few. Some of these were once sold under the Vitesse name. There are also color variations, such as the '57 Chevy wagon that comes in black, red, or blue.

"American Wheels" 1:43 hand-built and die-cast models of American cars by Jerry Rettig. The latest edition can best be gotten by contacting him direct at jerryrettig@msn.com

Models are listed by car maker as well as model maker, no prices listed. Thanks to new offerings by Brooklin and American Excellence and a few others, these go out-of-date every few months...still, it is my 1:43 "bible".
