Thank you both!

Yes, I still have the MTH Premier Big Boy, but now I run the Lionel version more frequently.

I have two videos that show the MTH UP Coal Fired Turbine No. 80, albeit running for a short distance, below. I will definitely consider a video of it pulling some cars in a long run.

PS. Although I like all of it, my favorite part of the new Big Boy and Reefers 4:17 video starts at 1:54.

What a great video, Alex.

I have been fortunate enough to see your wonderful layout and seeing all of your videos.  It constantly amazes me how your track was laid without cork or other roadbed.  Mostly it has me in awe of how perfect the track was laid and connected.

Keep up the fun for us.  There are a lot that are living vicariously through you!

"Thanks for the post!  Love watching your videos, glad to see another one.  I plan on using your drop-down turntable trick when I build my layout."

Good decision! For no harder than it is to make it so, the turntable-hatch provides very nice access where detail work normally is needed.

"Thanks Alex, love your videos....but I love the steam locomotive and reefers better."

They do look great for sure!

I'll share part of the credit with the Atlas track I used. This track made it easy to follow all the straights and curves I drew on the layout surface, according to the RR-Track plan. When combined with the gauges I made to maintain the constant 4-1/2" spacing throughout, the end result was a very smooth running layout. I do appreciate your kind comments!

Thank you all . . .

Alex
