Lionel non-train items- What else did they make

The corporation continued in business after getting out of trains in 1969. One of their pursuits was a the big-box retailer (Lionel)Kiddie City, and they were folding for good(after a few missteps) in the few years just before you were born.

Not sure where "Hoppy" comes from, but her name was "Kaycee."

Yes that mistake comes from my own bad memory coupled to this hopper. I'm surprised that they used "Kaycee" when some of thier competition was named Kay Bee Toy and Hobby. Seems like it could be confusing.

Lionel U-Drive Boat  I would love to find one for sale.

I have been in this hobby for quite some time. The only Lionel U-drive boat I have ever seen, or even heard of anybody owning, is the one in the Train Room (Hagerstown). Over the years, I have read claims that they were never even made.

By the way, there is an admission fee to see their museum.

They also made signal corps stuff for the Army. I have a morse code key pad for a Jeep radio that has a Lionel maker name (pretty much everything made in WW2 had Maker names clearly marked).
Many years ago, I knew a guy who said he had a book (maybe he wrote it) which he said listed every non-train thing Lionel ever made. I'd think someone here might have heard of it or has a copy?

I thought for I second I knew of one. But its a toy, not a kids riding type . Its was on the Detroit, Bay City, or Monroe Mich. Craigslist if anyone is interested in one

Lional made navigation instruments for ships. I have a magnificent Pelorus from a Liberty Ship standing five foot tall, with a big brass nameplate "Manufactured by Lionel Corp.".

They made the original Easy Bake Oven, saw that on a documentary of a 100 years of Lionel I think, been a while.

The Lionel oven had two real electric burners and a real electric oven. I believe it came with pots and pans too.
Nothing safe about it.

I own one of the "Lion-Ed" D-5 Girl's Puppy Rocker as shown in the first photo of the Train Room. I picked it up sitting outside an antique store nearly 20 years ago, having recognised it from a photo in Ron Hollander's "All Aboard" book. Does anyone know what they're worth?
