Looking to build a subway line. Just a simple oval.  Does anyone know what radius and amount of track the 8 piece  subway trestle set is meant for?   I'm not sure if I would need two sets.  Also I am considering using the tubular track but would like to use atlas. Any issues if I use Atlas track?

The MTH elevated trestle is made for track with attached roadbed. They make two types, one for MTH Real Tracks and one for Fastrack. For either one it's best to put a trestle by each track joint. You would need 8 trestles just for a circle so for an oval you would need a second box.

If you use tubular track you should get the trestles that go with that. Again, one for each joint.

Not sure what to use with Atlas.

The MTH trestles will work with tubular track you just pop off the clips for the roadbed tracks. The MTH trestles were way better then the Lionel fastrack trestles. Have some photos somewhere I'll post them when I find them.

I just took these photos of the MTH trestles, you can screw the track to the trestle with the right size screw into the narrow slots. I use these for my Christmas layout and just use double sided tape and the track holds fine.

The trestle bases are removable if you need room also.
