I decided to take a couple of videos of my PM 1225 freight service on the carpet central.  The first is looking forward, and the second is looking backward as taken from the first gondola.  You might notice that we pass a building along the way.  This is not a train station. It's a brewery.

Wow! Very nice carpet central.  If my count is right...3 rooms and the hallway.  You wife must be very accommodating to allow you to run your trains through the house!  Thankfully my wife is very tolerant of my set-up in our family room which runs along the outside walls, but after seeing your set-up I would love to expand to other rooms!  However, our house is too small for that. It must have been quite bit of a task to figure out how much track you needed to run it throughout all the rooms.  How long do you leave it up?  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone!

Kj, the layout is up all year, but Christmas villages are added during the Holidays.

She is indeed a tolerant woman.  Better than I deserve.

I'll try to shoot some of the consist on Sat and post it up, so you can get a better feel for the size.

I diagramed the rooms in Rail Modeler accounting for furniture, walls & such.  This is actually version #3.  The first used 036 curves, then I went to 048.  Now she sits at 060 & 072.  The extra track is used for the upstairs layout that is only set up at Christmas.
