Picked up a MARX Girard whistling train station on eBay for a great price.

This is just a whistling station no light.

Does anyone know the years that this was produced?

I will pick up a Marx price guide at the next train show.

The station is great condition with very minimal scratches, no dents or rust.

Got some info from my friend Al Osterud

Hi Steve,

The first one was made in 1949, and they were made continuously until Marx shut down the train line in 1975.

They come both lighted and unlighted.  A few have solid color litho pieces (roof, base, and occasionally dormer or chimney) when the assembly line ran out of lithoed parts.  Other than that, there were no intended variations.
