I have a Legacy ATSF Y3. The sound becomes distorted when the whistle is fully quilled or when the intensity of the chuff is increased with the brake slider of EFX button. I am not an audiophile, but it is annoying because the distortion happens with the highs (whistle is very high pitched) and the lows (the labor under low is heavy on the bass). The sound output becomes crackly, for lack of better description. I have tried two replacement OEM speakers with no improvement.
Has anyone found and used a better speaker for Legacy engines than the OEM speakers....

I would like to find a speaker the same size in order to keep the sound enclosure box. Thanks for any advice.
