Still looking.
Try Barry's Train Shop in Elizabethtown, PA. The store is closed, but the internet and phone lines are still open.
It was his custom run and where I got mine a while back.
Thanks SD 40-2. I will give it a try. I did try to all a week or so ago, but there was no answer. It was late in the afternoon. I will try again next week, along with an email.
Richard
His health has not been well for a while so he may be working limited hours. He does have help though.
SD-40-2,
The Email address is not working. I did call today and a recording answered. They are not able to respond to messages at this time, but they state they will be open again soon.

Richard,
I will keep an eye out for you, I just bought the last 2 and they are the original rebuilt Steel Tuscan Atlas O, WAG Single Sheathed 4141 & 4142 Sole Leather Line Box Cars, not the 1st generation Yellow & Orange wood sides unfortunately.
My Great Grandfather was the Engineer who actually pulled these Box Cars along with the Mini Crane Car & Logging Cars, out of the Pa Grand Canyon & surrounding mountains, during the logging era. I was born in his home in Galeton, Pa. These WAG Box Cars are very very hard to find, Barry had them special made over 20 years ago, I have been trying to contact him, to see if he has any of the original dual colored wood sides, hidden away in his old shop in Elizabethtown, or at his home.
Unfortunately I do not have his home number any more.

Wow Dave,
These cars were made 20 years ago?
I also have the Atlas Steele Rebuilt WAG boxcar from a few years ago. I had the Crown Models version of the single sheathed WAG box car, but I sold it off hoping to find the Atlas version.
I hope one turns up.
Thanks for the info and and the story about your great grandfather
Richard
Weve got the atlas steel rebuilt version, and there may be one of the single sheathed ones here too. www.publicdeliverytrack.com or email pdt212@gmail.com
Barrys special run was done in 2003.
Beth,
It's the original two tone wood side WAG, that was built 20 years ago or more, I would really like to have one of them, if your business has one in your inventory, please let me know.
