2 CSX #714??

Hmm everything I look at lists it as a GE ES44AH.

Didn't know that CSX had any SD70MAC units anyway.

The SD70MAC was not scrapped. They renumbered it to 4514... that was they'd be fairly close to newer units in the 4700 series numbers.

The only reason I know about them is that was the main modern diesel in G scale from USA Trains. I've always been looking and only recently now have a couple of them. The BNSF's look faded from the sun. I guess they're getting older?? Mid 90's??

The CSX's got the flared radiators on newer models or maybe rebuilds? I figured I could modify the radiators (that's what I call them) to match the newer ones. I have an O scale Lionel that Bernie did that to and I like the look.

 So, I'd like to pick a road number to copy. I'll look at the higher numbered ones now.

I do like the scheme. Most everyone in G scale has that engine, so it looks too familiar after awhile? I thought that the next one that goes up for sale, I'd repaint so that it's different than the one I already have.

I saw 1 sd70 coming out of charottle n.c.It was by itself and looked to pulling a fair size train.I was on old monroe rd driving.One of the times I wished I had a camera.It is pretty rare to see a single unit train.

 Now I can't find a real pic of this road number? I would think they got it right? Maybe it got renumbered in the past too??

 Looks like BNSF has a ton of these macs. They were the first to help develop them with EMD I think??
