Attended my first O gauge forum get together at QS &L. Slightly intimidating. Recognized a few from the forum. Will do it again in the spring........Paul

John, welcome back to the correct coast. Once you are here, you will be able to join the NJHR, the best Railroad club in the world. You will meet the criteria of being within a 4 hour drive, being able to afford the dues, being capable of talking trainspeak, and glowing green to ensure your safety when you leave the club after dark. Even better than that, you can join me and Greg in wearing Phillies and Eagles attire to the club. I left before that picture was taken, but went around all day with an Eagles hat.

I’m skipping the game this Sunday. After being away for 3 days, I figure I should do something around the house, and take care of the dog. The wife and kids will be at the game without me this time.
After my lumbar fusion surgery in July, I am feeling much better and have lost over 15 lbs. which I have been fortunate enough to keep off!
We indeed had a full house at QSL on Thursday night and as is my custom, I took photos of the OGR Forum members who were there at the same time as me. This was a really enjoyable York experience for me as I got to see a lot of old friends and met some new friends too. It was also the first time in a number of years that I actually had a shopping list of things that I needed for the changes I have made to my layout.
It felt strange having people come up to me in the Orange and Purple Halls to ask me if I brought my camera along and was going to be attending the OGR Dinner at QSL.
I would have liked to stay at the restaurant longer but it was already a long day for me as I am still not 100% healed from my surgery. So here are the pictures I took on Thursday night!

Don't be shy about going to Q S & L. That is how I met REALLY GREAT peeps! And at this latest QS & L dinner, I think Farmer Bill and I figured out which is the best vacuum cleaner to carry while roaming the halls and buying trains.....OR....maybe not!
Thanks Steve. Great Job
