Jim, I think you need to get back into the game. Open a small online store and do only special runs.
My days of running a store are done. Peggy and I don't have anything left in the tank. Our bodies are finished.
Jim, you've been an excellent ambassador for this hobby both as a store owner and retiree and you still keep up with the hobby.
I'm not talking a big operation but something small with maybe one or two special runs a year all online.
Remember, I think I can, I think I Can I think I can.............

I know the feeling. Retail is truly grinding, even if you are personally enamored with the product.
But, boy, if I had been a customer at your store, I would have been incredibly saddened by your retirement. Regardless, enjoy your retirement. You’ve earned it.
Jim R. Thank you for your kind words. Trains were a lot cheaper 13 years ago when we retired. I look at the prices now and I don't know how dealers sell them.

Somehow you, and they, and all of us generically, made it through that period. I'm sure that they'll make it through this one now as well.
