A Quick Review of Lionels Lionchief Set "Christmas lights "

Here is my review  of this nice set .    First a overall  grade of a "B". 

Appearance Grade is a "A"

SOUNDS & Music is a  "C"   Two Reasons   1.  No Physical Volume control on Music Box car.   2. The Whistle on the Engine is good but not great !

I ran the train with the included  Remote .   It ran well !   It smoked good on 17volts .  I set my MTH z4000 to 17volts .

LIGHTS  is a grade "A"  The lights on two boxcars included in the set plus the add-on box car worked great.   The lights in the caboose change color !  The engine headlight is bright .

I hope to download LIONCHIEF APP this weekend.  Maybe if I am lucky the sounds on the boxcar can be controlled through the app. If so I would upgrade the Overall score to a B+ .
