Is it possible to scramble an AIU? I have one that the accessory and switch assignments are messed up. The hard wiring has not changed from when I first installed the AIU. But the accessory assignments don't do what they are labeled for. And address 6 and 7 do the same thing! So what do I do to reset the AIU?
BTW, this setup has control from both the AIU and manual buttons on the edge of the layout. The functions still work correctly with those controls.

No, not really, at least not the way that you're describing.
If you haven't touched the wiring (be sure!), then I suggest that you delete all of the AIU items from the remote that aren't working as expected and re-enter them into the remote.

The panel functions wouldn't necessarily be affected.

Well, I killed a couple of birds with one stone. Since my new Rev L TIU arrived via Santa, I installed it and reset the remote. I was going to loose all the accessory settings anyway, and I will reinstall the engines as I use them. I spent an hour or so this afternoon reentering the switches and accessories. All is well and works as it should!
