All Around Glue

I am a big fan of the gorilla super glue (small bottle with blue top) This is different from the regular gorilla glue.  It is strong, they claim to have added some sort of "rubber" to make the joint less brittle, and it is thicker than most CA glues so it does not run when you are trying to position parts.

I am sure there are plenty of others that are great, this one works well for me.

I agree with you. Gorilla super glue is the best. I actually wrote a letter to them complimenting their product. Pardon the pun but, i'm stuck on them.

My go to is Zap-a-Gap Medium, not a Lowe's item, but any hobby shop should have it.

The glue I use the most, by far, is 5-Minute Epoxy. I buy the pack with the 4.5oz bottles, and mix it in the cut-off base of a 9oz plastic disposable cup. To mix it you can use a Q-Tip with the cotton cut off.

In my book there is no "ONE" glue. I have four different cement / adhesive / glues on my workbench, and a few others around the house. They all do different things.
