Handsome models.  Make sure all the dirt is out of those interlocking joints in the nose, then carefully re- tighten.  Takes a special wrench.  Tey are designed to close so tight that with paint you cannot see them.

Very nicely done. Painting and lettering these should be the crowning touch. I hope to see them completed.

the nathan M5 horns are Cal scale and came from Bowser. they come as a kit that has to be assembled. not sure how many hours is in this project but I am sure its a lot.

Absolutely beautiful as all have stated. Whose drop steps did you use on the back of the locos or are they homemade. Either way they are very nicely done.

They look great. Please post progress pictures. I like all the added detail. What paint scheme do you plan to use?

 

I redetailed 2 Atlas/Roco F units for WM 51 and 231 and kitbashed a B unit from 2 Atlas/Roco F units before the P&D B unit was available. The photo shows 51A and 231 B. The high fans are resin castings from a mold made using an All nation roof.
