American Flyer Polar Express Question

Recently bought the PE, arriving soon from Amazon imma have a large oval. I was wondering if I can place two power packs at the ends of the oval where the lines are. The straight sections will be 70 inches long. I was wondering if 2 packs can damage the train at all.
