Any video? How did you set them up?
The GP30 is a recent Blunami4408 install (was described in OGRR magazine RUN332. The RC crane has two can motors controlling the boom and hook. The transfer caboose contains a 48MHz two channel receiver powered by AA cells which controls the boom and hook. The Blunami app controls the loco and a handheld controller operates the crane car boom and hook. Currently looking into using a Blunami to operate the crane boom and hook in order to use the app for both control functions.
How is the battery life on both units?
The GP30 is powered by a 11.3V 1800mah Lithium battery which provides about 2-3 hours of running time. The crane receiver is powered by 3 AA cells which provide an extremely long run time.
