The LCCA is Proud to be Part of This Great Event!

 

TW TrainWorx will have a LCCA/Lionel FasTrack Modular Railroad layout in operation.  This will give our members who were not able to attend LCCA's 42nd Annual convention this past summer in Norfolk VA an opportunity to see this new modular standard in operation.  We believe this new standard will introduce the magic of Lionel trains to an entire new generation of train enthusiasts.   TW TrainWorx may even have some LCCA/Lionel FasTrack Railroad module kits available to order.

Spread the word, bring your friends and families to this FREE Lionel train filled event.  The Public is welcome. Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Dallas Ronald McDonald House.  The Ronald McDonald Foundation provides a home-away-from-home for those families whose child is in the hospital receiving much needed medical care their serious illness.

Come the TrainWorx Train Layout Festival and help out the Ronald McDonald House. Meet with fellow LCCA members, friends, Roger &  Dorcie Farkash, and the Traingineers at TrainWorx who create these masterpiece layouts.  Who knows, you may even see "Cowboy" formerly "Captain" Bob Carter during this event.  Bring the entire family, we are certain all who attend will be entertained and impressed.

Operation "Layout Festival Preparation" is in full swing!! Check out billboard going up on the outside of our building - Texas Special will "mark the spot" at 2808 McGowan Street - October 27, 2012!

 

Roger and I had a wildly successful York - "thank you" to all who came by and visited with us and special thanks to our friends who purchased our products!! 

 

We are getting over half a dozen layouts ready to be enjoyed by all the Layout Festival Attendees - too exciting. Just added to our festivities: The Streamliners will be setting up at noon to serenade us with; piano, alto sax, upright bass, percussion, guitar/vocals. Also, confirmed the "Yellow Belly" Truck from Cedars Food Park will be here from 10 to 5 - check them out: 

 
 
I invited Warren Buffett, who declared the BNSF Layout "a masterpiece" and he replied to me letting me know that he'll be attending his 65th high school reunion but wished us the best and said, "I know it will be a success!". (If you want to see the email...just ask me when you're here)
 
Oh... and there will be a Chinese Raffle with lots of cool items and Roger said we'll be raffling a Grand Central Terminal - now that would be pure awesomeness to win!
