This is always going to be a problem if software developers like MTH don't keep up with Android or Apple operating system improvements.  Take your new product back to the store and see if they can help you download and use the MTH software.  If not, return the product to them and go search on-line for a used (but still working) version of what broke down for you (checking to see that it has NOT been updated to newer Android versions).  With that, you should be able to download and use the same version MTH app again.
