Liam, checked on Lionel's site and they list features and last cat. 6-18754 appeared in but no pdf manual for it. Don't know how many pages manual is, but any chance you could post it on here or email it? I'm particularly interested in the Railsounds pages. Are the Railsounds generic crew talk or dialogue specific to the P.E. mentioning "Polar Express" by name or the "All aboard" announcement that the conductor car has? Noticed too the new LionChief P.E. set includes "Tickets Please" dialogue from movie, does crew talk in this 6-18754 include that bit of dialogue?

The crew talk is generic. The manual is the same as the train sounds Berkshire except a new front page and a page for the whistle steam.

Liam, Trainsounds Bershire, the locomotive?? or do you mean the add-on #6-36847 Trainsounds P.E. tender?

So even though the whistle steam effect's tender has RailSounds, it's not the same RailSounds dialogue found in the Pere Marquette Legacy RailSounds tender #1225, but instead it's merely the same crew talk dialogue that's heard in the add-on TrainSounds #6-36847 tender? The only difference then is since it's multi channel RailSounds the chuffing doesn't cut off when you play the crew talk as it does with the single channel TrainSounds #6-36847 tender? Also the RailSounds tender shell is metal vs. the plastic of the TrainSounds tender - those two things are the only differences between those two tenders?

The crew talk is similar to the train sounds, you are right the difference is that it has multi channel rail sounds. The crew talk sadly is not the same as the pere Marquette and you are correct the shell is die cast. Though the only difference is rail sounds and the die cast tender the sound quality is much better than the train sounds one and the die cast shell really helps. The whistle is also improved.
