Hey Everyone,

I’ve got a small problem with an Atlas O O-72 curve; at the end of the curve the rail tabs are broken and the rails are separated from the ties on all three rails. Is this track totaled or can crazy glue or a glue of similar type repair it ?  What should I do ?

Not sure what you mean by the rail tabs are broken. You can buy track joiners if that is what you are talking about. You should be able to attach rails back to ties with contact cement. Maybe Walthers Goo. Atlas also made track end tie sections that you could trim back the broken ties enough to slip the new ones on. Tie section had 3 or 4 ties plus the tab that locks two pieces together. I don't see them listed on their web site but I had them it stock at one time and can probably find you a piece.

If the rail is short, and is secure on both ends, you can sand the tie thinner and slide in from the side.  Glue with super glue, done.  If the rail is not stable, you should replace.  Curves have more stress then straight.  Make sure to pre drill holes in the rails for power wires.  Easier in a vice on a work bench, than “bench work”.
