Today was extremely bad for the Florida East Coast Railway. 2 men on foot in widely separated parts of Florida were killed by the same train!!

The Crew was swapped out after the first incident and continued on, Hitting another person some 400 miles on down the route.

Why the men were on the track right of way is still under investigation.

The news mentions how it affects the train crew for once.

You know odd things like this occur more than often.

A few years back  on the Kenova District of the NS,train 148 out of Portsmouth,Ohio ran over a trespasser along the right-of- way in South Point ,Ohio.

The recrew was backing the same train into Kenova (WV) Yard just 4 rail miles across the Ohio River, when they hit a car at the Rt.75 road crossing.

Sometimes it's just plain bad luck
