Best, lowest price for new Lionel legacy mikado

Hi guys, I am definitely considering getting one Lionel's legacy mikados. The problem is, everywhere I look, they're selling for $800, $850, $900, etc. I don't have that much money to spend at the moment, so I was wondering, what's the absolute best, lowest price for a new Lionel legacy mikado that you have found? And, do any of you have one? If so, is it worth the price that you have to spend? Do you like? Please help me, I'm just dying to get my hands on a new Lionel legacy mikado! Thank you all very much for your answers and opinions!

Hi Matt. We have one and did some comparison shopping online. Some are selling at $729 if you look for them. Most are higher around $759 to $799 but below $800 plus shipping.

We like ours but have already had a problem with the smoke system and it will have to go back to Lionel for correction. We pay OW shipping.

 

Suggestion - look on the FS board as 'Hotpressmuggs' has a K-Line that was converted to PS2 available. That would be a great combination and a good price.
