Weirton Steel opened their 40" Blooming Mill in 1920. I have chosen to model this unique structure on my PRR Panhandle Division. One of the interesting features of this building was the billboard installed in front of it. While the prototype billboard was free-standing, I have chosen to model it as part of the structure.

The billboard itself is a kitbashed Micro-Scale Models kit. I used the scale lumber and the lights and took guidance from the instructions.

I would love to hear from you.

Had a bit of a problem with the Crazy Glue I used to adhere the billboard to the mill's front wall (see "Crazy Glue Makes Me Crazy" thread in Building Forum).  The glue ran and messed up the front wall.  I ended up sanding the glue off, repainting, and then re-gluing the billboard using E-6000.  Looks pretty good, but I'll have to hit the mill with another coat of DullCote to take the shine off.
