I wanted to test my range with the 75ft BlueRail board and app.  My basement is 60 ft wide.  Although I would not run trains that far away as my layout is only 33 feet, I never lost connectivity.  Then I took it outside and the results were quite interesting.

There are some other posts about bluetooth connectivity not working very well.  But I can say the BlueRail connectivity does in fact work VERY well.

Have Fun!

Impressed that it also doesn't need line of sight, concrete walls seem to be no problem.

Thanks for the demo,

Ray

Well Actually... Concrete will reduce your range.  Wood, not as much.

When that train was on the track as you saw it, I started to walk towards my Bilco doors.  The train stayed connected at the 60-65 foot range and there was a interior wall and water heater in the line of sight.

The moment I stepped up the stairs of the Bilco (Solid concrete), the connection was lost.

I did video another part where the train was on the layout as you saw and I was outside, but directly across (and up) from it.  It worked.  I may have been 20-25 feet away.
