I broke a spring hanger in the side of my MTH EMD 4-axle truck. Unfortunately, there are no replacements available.
So, I designed one!
I’ll let you know how they turn out...
thanks!

Good morning!
I just ordered a test print for a 4-up "array", and in both plastic and metal! I really hope the metal ones work, that would be so cool.
These should fit a little closer to the sideframe, and not break as easily as the factory ones.
Thanks,
- Mario
Metal, Brass would be great, plastic better than broken ones, I have had several of these break, please post if you are successful, I would love to order some, Thanks

Ok. Got them from Shapeways today and they look pretty good...
I just tapped out the old ones from the back and out a dab of super glue on the back side of the new ones and slid them in. They are stiff and a lot stronger than the engineering plastic ones.
Google “Blomberg spring hanger” to see some close up pictures.
thanks,
Mario
Well done sir! Much nicer than the hack job I did on my Lionel PRR F7 gluing it back together.

The Lionel ones seem to break with just a change in air pressure.

How do the center to center dimensions match up? Hope you can make Lionel one up. We all need some Mario!
Sweet!
