These are the Lionel F3's from 1980 that I decided to run for the first time today. I greased and oiled the ABA, coupled my MTH Santa Fe cars to it and turned up the transformer. What you don't hear in the video is the horn, LOL there is none. On the first run I pressed the whistle/horn button and heard a horn, and thought really? I forgot I had an MTH GG1 on the other side of the layout, that was the horn I heard. Luckily I stopped the F3 before it crashed.

Those F3s are good pullers. And they get better once broken in.
