Sure did! The final car of Atlas' Zephyr, the Conductor's Dome. It is on the water now.

Not railroad related, but i scored this off ebay for less than 20 bucks with shipping.
It's from the county I was born in, for the timeframe I was born (at the end of November, 1969).
On my way home from the hospital as an infant, I could have been driven past the very car that had this plate for all I know.
And yes, I know this makes some of you feel old...

My husband Tom and I have lived our entire lives in California, so I picked up both the green and the brown repro Lionel CALIFORNIA passenger cars from the State Sets. These will run behind my pink/red 408E.

I had posted this one pic on the what did you do on the layout page but also decided to post this here seeing it's new. I just got this today from the CTTA, a Canadian club. It is one of their offerings and I like Canadian road names. This is actually the first time I have bought a 36' reefer. Here is a pic..........Paul

It's all right, we're clear! Ripley, you've blown the transaxle, you're just grinding metal! C'mon, ease down! Ease down! Ease down!
AnnetteRatley, welcome to the forum. You will find a good deal of good information on this forum. And if you do not see what information you need just ask the question and you will get an answer..............Paul
I call this "attic fresh" it looks like the motors have not been touched, still had the original tape to hold the wiring down. Cosmetically the body is rough but thats ok with me I'm the same age. Of course the old Eveready is toast but the e-unit sequences just fine and it runs smooth for being 62 years old. I'm kinda reluctant to clean it up and loose its history.

Franktrain, I had one come through for repair where the battery looked way worse than that and I brought her back to life with a few parts and a little elbow grease
My latest addition: The PRR B-28. It will be featured in my next upload, Steam Pusher Service
Very nice Peter!!
