Pat Kn posted:I got to test my Pennsy 44 Ton switcher last night at the club. I love this engine. It sounds great and pulls great, especially for a small size engine. It pulled 12 coal hoppers with no problem. Here are some pictures and an unedited video. One picture shows it next to the non-scale Lionel 44 Ton switcher.
Pat,
The 44 looks, sounds, and pulls great!! Thank you for all the photos and video!
BTW, while I was at YouTube, I subscribed to your channel.

Siku Mercedes Benz Actros Winterdienst arrived today. So now you and Wood don't have to drive the UMOG all the time. Ok cool for me and more comfortable for you and Wood.

Very nice, nothing but the best for the snow plow drivers! One question, do the windows roll down? and does it have a coffee holder?

I'm in! Love plowing the snow, but mostly at night when all the crazies are home sleeping! :-)

And the thrill of the odd car buried in a drift.
Today I picked up two items:
The Lionel 450 Signal Bridge (1952-1958):
and the 1999 Lionel 1602 and 1603 FT F3 NYC A-A Diesels (6-18160):
"The Devil Made Me Do It"...
I went to a Train Auction today and came home with a few items...there were over 500 lots, mostly new in the box...so plenty to go around.
My take for the day included:
1. 2 Lionel Ontario Northland Covered Hoppers.
2. Lionel 6-2301 Operating Sawmill.
3. Lionel 6-24177 Hot Air Balloon Ride.
4. Lionel 6-24183 Esso Gas Station.
5. Lionel Boston Mass City Trolley "3321".
6. Lionel Tire Swing Animation.
7. Lionel Operating Harry's Barber Shop.
8. 2 Rail King Box Cars: 1 - State of Michigan & 1 - Transportation Flatcar w/Firetruck.
So looks like I'll have plenty to do on my newer layout as we move into winter...Just sayin!
Paul
I ordered a Lionel Western Maryland Lionmaster Challenger as a 10th Anniversary gift from my wife.

Thank you for mentioning the hot air balloon ride. It's now on my want list
I got the hot air balloon rinde last year. Its pretty fricken AWESOME.
I got this Railking Buffalo & Pittsburgh caboose from Mercer Junction today. I needed it to go with my Premier B&P GP-38-2 I got used earlier in the year. All my other trains are transition era, but the B&P is right over the hill from my house, so I made an exception.
Actually, yes. Picked up this handsome set of MTH UP Alco Pa's this week and ran them today for the first time. Have not seen these before and am quite impressed. They are the only diesels in HO that Mike produces that smoke. Good detail, smooth running, and great sound from both units, All wheels are powered. Here they are at the Apple Valley Model RR Club in nearby Hendersonville NC. A beautiful mature layout in the old Southern Depot there.
