just bought this little Marx gem off ebay.

Picked up the new 2017 Lionel Christmas Box Car at Brady's in the Westmoreland Mall this week.

We added the Dome Passenger car to our NS Passenger set.  Only 3 cars to go.....Also picked up a 4 pack of High Top Coal Hoppers for my son's Christmas gift!  Those are in hiding right now. 

That is a great looking car, Thaddeus!!

Some new additions to my layout. Two Weaver Automotive Boxcars. A MTH PRR Crane Car and the Century II PRR Coal Train.

I don't post but couldn't resist sharing pic's of one of my two new additions. I picked up a K-line Berkshire demonstrator and this Rivarossi 0-8-0 converted to 3 rail AC.

Northern Pacific 4-8-4 w/Railsounds

Over the past month I got started on a new road name for my passenger train collection(Southern Pacific).  I found a brand new Lionel Southern Pacific Shasta Daylight 4 pack and a 2 pack add on 18" passenger car set for $350 at a local show and I just found a new/old stock Weaver E-8 Southern Pacific ABBA set for $275 from a train store. 

Can Can anyone tell me the make of this structure?  BALSA WOOD construction. 

I received my 1st 89' boxcar from Lionel.  I am in love with this boxcar.  As of right now, if I run this car in a freight train, it would be restricted only to my outer curve as that is 054 .

Thank you Frank. I think that’s most likely.  I’m happy to have acquired such a well-crafted structure.  Would like to look into getting others but not much info on the web about this shop, just an address.

By the way, stunning layout you have there! 

For I don't know how many years I wanted a Lionel New York Central 2344. No I'm not as old as it is But I wanted one. Two days prior to Christmas I saw one at a variety store. I have done nothing but think about it until today. I now own it. Even better I ran it today and it is everything I dreamed about. First postwar engine I have bought in a very long time, it felt good.

 Maybe if I get time I will add some photos, because this thing is sharp considering I paid next to nothing for if.
