Not done but getting there fully scratch built.Still waiting on my OSHA ladders railings etc.

rockstars1989....that is magnificent!!! I love it!!... This is one model I would like to do on my layout but just don't have the room. Anyway, you have done a wonderful job and I sure hope you post more photos of it. VERY NICE indeed!!

Reminds me of the Republic Steel blast furnaces south of the Center Street bridge in Youngstown, or that was in Youngstown now gone.

That is beautiful. I did not realize the magnitude until I looked down at the cars which look small. How tall is this unit?

I have spent 30 years at the Cleveland mills.I built it from memory and departments still operating.Go to" Steel industry forum" and register.MANY model railroaders there.A wealth of steel mill pictres and info from mills all over the country.Thank youguys for the interest you have shown for my project.More pics very soon.

I spent 30 years at North American Mfg Co so if you have questions about burners, blowers, tundish or ladle heaters, let me know. Or for that matter, the LTV continuous annealer also.

Looks great! When I saw the pictures I thought the cars were H.O because the building was so big.
