Christmas Eve Cab 2 Problem

   Mine did the same thing a few years ago. I called Lionel and it had to go back for a screen replacement.

I had this same issue a couple of months ago.  Lionel's initial response - Try tightening or loosening the screw on the back of the remote behind the red CTC button a quarter turn.  This may resolve the issue.

This did not work for me so they issued an RA and I had it repaired.  They only required I send the remote so shipping costs weren't bad.  Ten day turnaround and it works fine.

Thanks, Bruce.....I tried that earlier today.....no joy!   Appreciate the help, though!   Guess I will get a RMA on Tuesday and send it back.  I really believe anyone who runs a Legacy setup should keep an extra one as a backup!

Agree Pete.  I was lucky to find a second used 990 a while back.  Nice to have the additional remote and a backup base.
