Looks like we have found a loving home !!
As with all things . . . . . the time comes. My wife Ginny has retired and we're going to travel. After much discussion and angst, we have decided not to erect our Holiday layout and offer it to some loving home. This Holiday layout is as "Home Ready" as it gets. The layout consists of three 4' x 4' 1/2" plywood sections each complete with extremely sturdy foldable steel legs. These are not the inexpensive legs, these are very thick and very strong. Each of the three plywood tables can have their legs folded and be stored in the garage in a matter of ten minutes. Once opened and locked (also ten minutes) the tables are clamped together to make a layout of 4' x 12'. The tables have holes pre-cut for all of the building wires so that the final effect (once snow cover is applied) makes the wires invisible (see photos). The tables are very strong because I'm fat and I built them !!
Over the years we have accumulated about thirty five buildings with their lights and cords. In addition to the buildings are lighted trees, campfires, gazebos, and lighted autos. There are about six dozen or more associated figures. (The Caliope display in photo #1 is not included). All of the buildings and figures are in pristine condition. Almost all buildings have original boxes. All buildings come with bulbs ad cords. If you do the math, you know what all of this is worth. How would you like to have a Holiday Village set up in a couple of hours and stored in your garage in minutes? Hope so ! Most of the photos below do not have the most recent buildings added.
