Can anyone help me with identifying this pullman car and the approx, date they were made.  My neighbor has two of these, this is the combine, both NYC.  They were made in Detroit, MI but they have no markings whatsoever on the car.  There are no lights, no operating couplers and no windows.   The car weighs 4 lb. 9 ozs. and is about 22" long.   They will run on O scale track.  The floor is like a shiny fiberboard.   Also what sort of value would you place on this?   Thanks.

By the way there is a nifty 50's video on You tube of Congress Tool and Die and how they make the dies and do the die casting.  Mostly they made auto parts and pulleys.

Don't have a date for you but they were made to go with their scale hudson. A few of the Hudsons came through the shop I used to work at here in Michigan and were very nice. That being said, I remember that their scale was at set at 17/64" (scaled to O gauge track) rather than the 1/4" Lionel produced their scale hudson at. My best guess at value would be in the $50 dollar range but let the market decide. I would list them on that auction site and let the bidding begin, they look very nice even if they need some work.
