following the advice on a previous thread, I have all of the correct equipment to do this...

I have a TMCC base with a computer port y splitter cable going to TIU and the other end of the y splitter going to DAT/COM cable into the TPC. (Yes the cables are in the correct directions.)

I get Cab-1 response to TMCC base and TPC with no problems. I get DCS remote response to the TMCC base and the TIU (as designed) with no problem. I get no TPC response via the DCS remote. (I have created a TMCC engine in the DCS remote and assigned it ENG#1. I also programmed the TPC as ENG#1 beforehand. All of this following the guidelines in the thread.)

I push AUX 1 softkey on DCS (granted I am using DCS ver 6.0) and then I throttle up, and TMCC base red light is flickering and receiving commands. TPC does nothing.

Was the guy posting in this thread (Dave) lying? Or am I missing something?

If I understand this correctly, try assigning the TMCC Locomotive to #2

There is no locomotive. I am referring to the TPC or Track Power Controllers - I tried assigning the TPC to ENG #2 but it did nothing...

Its not the programming it's the signal coming back into the command base from the TIU that isn't dishing out to the TPC as if it was the Cab-1 taking to it.
