Creating an articulated Light Rail vehicle | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a few spare power truck sitting around for some reason and would like to try my hand at creating a 3 truck LRV like those used in NJ transit and others around the company. I have seen one attempt on a S scale display layout so I think I can craft a representation of the car body but I am stumped at how to create the articulation between the power truck which would be in the center and the two adjoining car bodies. Has anyone attempted this ever? Any thoughts in the OGR community?

Maybe something like this... it's a rubber bushing found on a lot of cars, between the door and the body by the hinge to hide wires.
