I looked at previous forum posts but couldn't find anything on this specifically. I posted yesterday that I just installed a set and they work great. What I've now discovered is: When I turn on the power, the gate starts to go down, the sensor realizes it's ok and it goes back  up.

Is this an electrical spike so to speak? If so, can I add a ??? to the circuit to stop it, or is there something I can do to the sensitivity adjustment to stop this?

Thank you, Terry

Terry,

I don't think it is a spike. I have several tri-color Z-Stuff signals with the IR sensors. On all of them, when I initially power them up, the red light comes on momentarily and the the signal goes to green and operates properly. I think it might be the electronics of the sensor on power up and not a malfunction. The same thing might be happening to the IR sensors thus causing the gates to initially go down (default to red) upon power up.
