I recently picked up a 1656 switcher project. One of the parts missing was the pick up, Dennis graciously offered to send me one of his spares. Well I got the package today...sort of. Here's what this dirty dog did to me! Yeah he sent me a pick up for my 1656...trouble is it's attached to a complete motor!! Now with the motor that came with 1656, and the gutted motor from my 1615 project from a few months back,the missing side rods, AND a complete E Unit Dennis sent, I'll have enough parts for a complete motor but no engine shell, so I'll have NO choice but to hunt for a bare switcher shell for yet ANOTHER switcher!! What do you all think of a man that would put a friend in this position? And to top it all off.....Dennis sent all this stuff for FREE.

Another switcher to fix, never enough switcher....

More seriously, it is great to have people always ready to help and not always looking for money. Dennis is a real Gentleman.
