Same here got some at both Walmart & Target.  I don't know if it was a pricing error or just a way to make room for the next cycle of toys to come in for fall/winter, but I couldn't resist buying the larger talking/singing ones on a $15 clearance.

Looks like fun! I had added some from the earlier movies to the Troublesome trucks.

Kids and adults were roaring in laughter when our family went to see the movie!

Toys R Us has a couple of nice packs of these characters that look good with O Gauge.

Got some to add to some of the trains that kids will run at shows!

There are also some little Lego Packs of Minions shown on the last photo.

Very popular with the kids.

Too bad they did not have a Minions train running in the movie!

A LionChief set for the kids would be great!

I found the eyes online.  Inserted the pictures in microsoft Word.
Added black lines on both sides to wrap around the containers.
Printed on glossy paper at Staples, cut out and glued to containers with tacky glue

At our holiday layout in Round Rock TX a couple years ago, one of our club members found some minions and brought them to the layout.  We decided to hide them and include them in the scavenger hunt of things to find on the layout.  they were such a hit that we added more last year.  After a while my son Ricky (TxEagle77) started moving them around to make it harder.  Can't wait to do it again this year!

where did you get this Tardis??

Yes, indeed, where?

I've been a Dr Who fan since I was in my pre-teens and have never seen a really good O scale one. I have a keychain that is more like S scale, though and once I removed the screw from the chain, it makes for a good TARDIS to sit on a shelf.

Andy,

where did you get this Tardis??

I found it in the science fiction section of a Barnes & Noble book store about 3-4 years ago.  The light on top works, as well.  I'll have to check it for manufacturer info when I get home tonight as I don't think I still have the box.

OK, don't get grossed out but I bought a 3-D printed O scale porta potty from Diecast Direct.  It's blue, it's got four sides, a roof, and a door that opens. I like to joke that it looks bigger on the inside than you'd expect, a TARDIS allusion. It might be adaptable -- although, perhaps a bit narrow proportion-wise.

Here is a photo of a kids display I did I replaced the gateman with Minions. Redid the gatehouse with a Tortoise switch motor so they push the button and it slowly opens and guys in front turn and come out of the gatehouse then push button other way they slowly go back in and door closes and other guy turns. Works much better being slow!IMG_2550IMG_2558

And you can see the guys on the freight cars.
