These look very interesting. Just a thought for future reference - I would very much like to see O gauge litho tinplate reefers equivalents of some of the scale Atlas cars. No fantasy, just a straight up litho version of almost any of the billboards that have been produced.
I'm very excited about these cars and can't wait for their release in both O and Standard gauge. I'll be buying any/all that are released.

it always puzzles me why people who make reproductions don't change the road number. i doubt if i will buy the exact same car as an original i already own. a different number might be a different story.

These look wonderful. Litho has been long overlooked in the U.S. ever since plastics came along. I think you are getting it right in trying to capture the feel of what Dorfan might have become had it not been derailed by the Great Depression.
If this is a success in O gauge (I'll be doing my bit to see that it is), I hope you take the plunge into Standard gauge with the same enthusiasm. The engine shed is already on my list. I got to see the mock up at the Weaver booth in the Orange hall at York last weekend.
To my American toy train friends:
If you want to see American roadname toy trains in Litho guys, you need to support this effort. I doesn't look as though MTH is very interested in it.
