Here you go Brian. I will be also building track sections which will outline the track which will include extended ties and the walkways. The railings will then be placed at the end of the extended ties. Those track sections will be a single piece that fit on each section.
When are you free? Maybe by then I'll have another section in place.

On another note, if I may suggest.....it might be easier for those of us that are following your build for you to post all of this into one thread. I've noticed that you are posting separate threads on this same subject and it really would be great if it was all together.... Just a suggestion and please don't take it as a negative...

No Ben they did not, but I put them on anyway.
I think they were on IND or BMT trains that had them. Brian MCD4X4 has a picture but he can't find it. Come on Jerry look for the picture!
I believe the R38 was the only one that wore it but it was on the front

Hi Brian ... I was thinking of doing that, but I am so busy planning this elevated structure. I am still undecided on how to paint the structure. Airbrush sounds nice but it can be a pain. Maybe just plain spray paint will do. Also the next part will be the track bed structure which includes the extended ties catwalk and railings I have ideas on how this will be accomplished and even have a short list of Plastruct parts that will be needed.
