I have a William Brass NYC Niagara 4-8-4 #5602. I am in the process of installing a ERR DC Commander and a Medium Steam sound kit. I have both a MTH PS1 and PS2 smoke unit. I understand that both smoke units may require different steps to wire up everything to work. I have read through may posts on OGR and I find myself a little confused about all the things I would need besides the smoke unit and connecting it to the Feature on the Driver Board. I was hoping someone could give me some guidance on the steps that are the same and or different to installing either PS1 or PS2 smoke unit. I have already fitted a PS1 to engine but if PS2 has less steps I could change it out. The requested goal is to make this thing smoke continually.
(I realize that cruise commander is a better option but DC Commander is what I have)
(For my next project I will be using a Super Cuffer and Chuff generator but it is not in the cards for this project.)
